"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"
- Arthur C. Clarke
Robotics, self-driving cars, and increasing use of brain-balancing and radionic healing technologies is what I see coming for the future of technology. Click the read more link below for more.

One of the great things about being a meditator, is that in a quiet mind, our ability to notice a logical progression, of how things must necessarily go, is enhanced. Stillness offers great clarity. So that's where this blog post has come from.
So what do I see for the future of technology? If we review the history of technology, we see that we have often made the impossible, possible. At one time it was a challenge to cross the sea. We have since been to the moon. At one time the most advanced technology sent signals via wire ('tele-graph') to other parts of the planet..in morse code! Now we have the i-net, a global brain, which can pull up over 1 000 000 answers to a question that we google, wirelessly, from almost anywhere, in a fraction of a second. Personally, I find that pretty amazing! So, given how things have changed, I feel it is safe to assume that we will be making many more impossible things possible in the future...making not just quantitative changes to our lives, but also qualitative changes. In other words, we won't just make a faster computer - we'll make a computer that learns, or thinks... to say nothing of how transportation or work will change.
So the first trend I see is the overview: I see technology becoming increasingly complex, and then, once that has maxed out, becoming increasingly simpler, synthesized, and more user-friendly. Ultimately I believe that our general direction is in the direction of synthesis and simplification. Now some specifics:
I-Net and Cloud Technology
Many more things will be connected to the i-net, or rather to the cloud, just like a global brain. At least your home, car, phone, and computer will be. And it will all be increasingly intelligent, responsive, and voice-directed. I envision a world where after you buy a car, the next step is...dating. Basically now you get to know each other. And your car learns your preferences for...everything. When to turn the heat on and to what temperature. What music to play and for what mood. When to pick you up and your favourite parking spot or restaurant...as cars become self-driving/autonomous, this will all be natural. You will talk to your car, and it will talk back. Google already has a car, right now, that has driven autonomously for something like 100 000 miles, and Tesla's cars all already have the ability to be self-driving. They are simply waiting for a download when the time is right. So...a car that can drive you places - and even park itself is really not far away. It won't be long until your car will drive you to a restaurant like a chauffeur - or you can send your car to pick up the meal for you!
Information and Transparency
I also see increasing sensors, everywhere. Some people may get paranoid about this, but I envision it making a big difference to our lives. It will make our homes, cars, and phones, etc, more intelligent, and able to interact with and help us more effectively. They will sense our moods and needs, and this will be the beginnings of artificial intelligence and will make things like a personal robot assistant possible and much more helpful. It may even be that we have a new age of transparency coming - where most things are sensed, tracked and recorded, and this helps end things like stealing or double-dealing. Information is power as we become more able to use it responsibly.
Solar Power and "...the nuclear reactor in the sky"
Elon Musk of Tesla fame has kindly pointed out that, "We just happen to have this wonderful nuclear reactor/ power generator in they sky...we call the sun."
As solar power naturally becomes our new main source of energy (with solar on every home), and as solar panels themselves become much more efficient, this will naturally result in many changes, and opens up the possibility of automation of many things, which we are seeing the beginning's of today with drones replacing delivery trucks (if Amazon has their way). Today's cars are incredibly inefficient things. They are heavy and bulky because they have to house a huge, wasteful gasoline engine and transmission. Electric cars have way less moving parts. It's interesting to remember that just before the gasoline engine was the steam engine - which seems ridiculously archaic to us now. I also know that we have new materials coming, like 'graphene' for example, which is inexpensive to make, is ultra light, flexible, 600 times stronger than steel, and...conducts electricity! I can't even imagine what that will make possible.
I also believe that technology is essentially going to dissappear. Which is to say that it will become more and more natural and organic in its form, and simpler and easier to use. So things like computers and cell phones are going to become simpler. It will become more aesthetically gentle, simple, and easier on the eyes - and will blend in more with the things around us. Like nature. Nature doesn't stand out. Nature is easy on the eyes - we take a walk in nature to relax. Technology will increasingly become like this.
Robotics aka Automation
Increasingly, robots will be doing much of the repetitive work. I see robots building robots, and humans having to only program an activity once. This is for the long term but is definitely the direction things will go. Growing food, making clothes, even building homes I imagine will all become programmed work...leaving people grow, learn, create and play. Just think of the huge amount of money and resources that will be freed up when countries stop putting the majority of their resources into creating weapons and armies! When we finally reach that evolutionary place, our society will make a huge technological and quality-of-life leap ahead. All that energy and money will go into enhancing our quality of life as an abundant, peaceful, harmonious planet, with a wealth of resources. We will no longer think that 'everyone needs a job' - robots will be doing much of the grunt work and we will increasingly spend our time on higher mental planes, instead of 'Do you want fries with that?'
Recycling - where will it go?
Beyond the above, I think the other great thing we have to look forward to is new inventions that will make recycling plastic possible - something we direly need. Plastic bags, I have heard are now illegal in Ireland, (and digestible by certain mushrooms I hear)... other countries will follow suit - there will come a time when we won't create anything without knowing exactly where it will end up.
Healing Technologies - Brain Balancing, Radionics and Metatronics
In the area of healing technologies, I see two major trends: the increasing use and proliferation of brain-balancing and brain-healing technologies, and the increasing use of radionics. Especially as computers continue to get faster and cheaper, these technologies will become more widely available, and may even bring us to a point where PTSD...is no longer. Because we just balance our brain, and it recovers. This technology is already available, and it is called Brain-Wave Optimization, though presently it is cost-prohibitive for many people, beginning at about $700 for three sessions. (A great site on Brain-Wave Optimization is www.ShambhalaWellnessCenter.com, where radionics and thermography are also offered).
And I believe we'll see these used in schools. I'm talking about meditation-neurofeedback technology where you connect yourself up to your smart-phone, and learn by video-game or other interactive multi-media form. So we're talking increasingly using technology to enhance biology. To entrain natural bio-rhythms and helps us learn, heal, relax, meditate and evolve. Plus I believe that we'll see increasing energy-medicine technology, and energy-field technology (like the Maitreya Solar Cross pictured above, at www.ShambhalaHealingTools.com), will increasingly become the norm. Few people know that we already have energy healing machines working with a science called radionics that literally do remote healing, and on profound levels.
We have always, I believe, had the ability to regenerate our human organism, we just haven't had the technology to support our system's in doing that. Today we know that EMF's are harmful to the human organism as are other forms of radiation. But soon we will discover, create and use energy-fields that are life-enhancing as well...enter the science of radionics, a machine into which you put a picture of a person, the machine then scans that picture for 70 000 different variables, and then begins transmitting the needed frequencies for 30 minutes of every hour, for the next 30 days. Profound is right. I have friends who have received this multiple times and they tell me it is incredibly, profoundly helpful. It is called Advanced Soul Therapy, find out more at www.ShambhalaWellnessCenter.com.
And a third energy healing system that is steadily growing in use is Metatronics, very profound healing tools that works within a science of sacred geometry and divine design, also called geomancy.
So, intelligence, simplicity, beauty, recyclability, and health - these are some of the values and design principles that I believe will inform the technological landscape that is to come. Probably the only greater change in our society than this will be the trend of mass human awakening. Between these two trends I believe we have a very quiet, beautiful world to look forward to.
